Nothing better than a cup of perfectly brewed coffee from the Chemex coffee maker to start the day! Have you ever tried it? What do you think, yay or nay?

One of my favorite designer brands is BCBG. I just love their well made and well fitted clothes and shoes. Remember I was looking for a dress for the Dove awards? I searched everywhere and couldn't really find anything that I loved. I looked at Posh, Nordstrom, Dillard's, Macy's and online. My best friend and I had a much needed date a few weekends ago and she was helping me to look for THE dress, and we found it! We found the dress at Belk, of all places. She was such a good help and we had so much fun! I'm so thankful for my friend. 

I found these lovely cobalt colored shoes from BCBG that will add a pop of color to the more neutral dress. Im also planning on wearing lashes and red lipstick, pretty brave huh? Very unlike me, but I like it :)

Silver dress with some sequin. From the beginning I wanted the whole dress to be sequin but this one changed my mind ;) like it?

Hot red lipstick and lashes to complete the look! I will make sure to post photos from the awards so you can see the final outfit :)

The awards is in Atlanta, April 19th, and I'm gonna go to IKEA and h&m the day after to satisfy my Swedish urges ;)

Here are some behind the scenes photos from Nashville Fashion Week. I had such a blast shooting the runway shows and being a part of a great team at Nashville Fashion Events. One of last nights highs was interviewing Randi Rahm, who's dresses and gowns are absolutely gorgeous and worn by many celebrities (one of them being Carrie Underwood). I can't wait to show you the footage!
NFW ended with amazing style on the runway, following a fabulous after party with dancing to the early hours. Unfortunately I had fever so the only moves I pulled off was hand shakes and smiles ;) If you missed this years events, MAKE SURE you mark your calendars for next year, you do not want to miss this! Nashville Fashion Week is just around the corner and YOU should be excited! I am super pumped that we, in Nashville get to have a whole week filled with runway shows, trunk shows and fashion everywhere! I am covering some events with photo/video for Nashville Fashion Events including the high end runway show by Versace at the Parthenon, amongst many other exciting shows.

I am really excited to be a part of this years festivities and cant wait for it to start. The designers I am the most excited about this year are Versace, Randi Rahm, Magid Bernard and G-Star to only mention a few. We have so many amazing local designers that are showing their collections like White Rabbit, Jamie and the Jones, Leona and Amy.B. !

This years dates are march 20-24, so if you haven't gotten your tickets by now you should! See you there!
