chocolate covered faces
I love this family! I met up with the Harris family last Sunday to get some good photos of their beautiful family and we had a really good time. The kiddos are so full of energy and life and it was a challenge to keep up with their goofiness and silliness :) This family loves to laugh and have a good time - and to eat ICE CREAM! Jenis ice cream shop was the perfect spot and it was so sweet to see the kids munching on the ice cream, covering their little faces with chocolate and rainbow sprikles - pure bliss.
I love to photograph people and families in their natural element, where they are comfortable and can be themselves. I love to get a snippet of the life of someone and would love to meet YOU and your family! If you are interested in portraits or family portraits, send me an email or give me a call! I would love to meet YOU!
head over heels
I have fallen head over my new leopard heels in love with pro markers! I did this quick drawing/illustration last night and you can be expecting plenty more! I have always been painting and drawing, mostly acrylics, but never gotten into markers before yesterday. It is so fun and so challenging. I love taking on new tasks and learning new skills, it inspires me. To me inspiration doesn't just show up one day, I have to just get into it and then the inspiration always follows. That is why painting and photography goes hand in hand for me. I get inspiration for my photoshoots when I paint and vice versa :) Hope you like!
(I know the heels don't go well with my dress but I just wanted to show my new find to ya)
Lights
Finally back in Nashville after a big adventure in Europe. It's a bittersweet feeling, I already miss it but I'm glad to be back home again and get back to work and shoot some amazing photos. Europe was really inspiring. I love the fashion and the architecture and I wish I would have had time to do a few shoots while over there, aside from shooting live music footage.
Zurich is a fashion Mecca. Everyone I saw was dressed nicely and fashionable, even the older generation, and the selection of great stores was endless. I took some inspiration back with me and I hope to use it these upcoming few days where I have a couple of photoshoots.
The photo in this blog is from my weekend away with my husband in Seattle. Isn't he such a handsome man?! I'm lucky :)
