favorites

Here are my favorite outfits from the fashion show at Local Honey last weekend.

Seth could rock this outfit any day!

I love the color combinations of the blue and red in this outfit. If I were a guy, I would wear this. Who says fashion for guys can't be fun and creative!? There's no excuses anymore guys..

And my favorites from the girls outfits are these lovely pieces:

Black and white always works. I would definitely wear this!

I fell in love, a few weeks ago with these types of pants. I love the loose, relaxed but yet sophisticated feel of these pants. I own one pair, might have to invest in another.. :)

Love the pattern! Love the accessories!

Gotta have those shoes.. A really nicely cut blazer works with almost any outfit. I have invested in a couple really good ones that goes with everything. Adding a nice suit jacket/blazer makes any "bland" outfit interesting and fun and complete an already interesting outfit.

All I can say about this is that I LOVE lace and this piece is awesome

I really just like the styling in this outfit and those shoes are very cool!

Now you know what to wear this fall guys and gals! :)

fashion show

Last night was such a blast! It was the Local Honey fashion show with designers from the store Local Honey and the guys clothing line called T&P who were showing us their fall collections. It was really inspiring fashion, good music, fabulous models and a lot of fashion-hungry people out to enjoy the event. I was covering the backstage area and the runway and got some great photos to share with you all! If I were a guy, I would definitely check out T&P's designs, they really have some cool stuff!

I am not at all a fashionista, however I do love fashion and photographing fashion, even if I might not get all the points right when it comes to styling myself. ;) Fashion, to me, is all about having fun and being creative and I don't really think there is a "right or wrong", its all about how the clothes makes you feel and to just have fun with it! I like mixing new stuff with old vintage stuff and today I made some really great finds at the thrift store, yay! Think I got inspired by all the awesomeness from yesterdays designers!

All of you who missed this wonderful night last night, go check out Local Honey, located on West End!

The guys practicing their walk

The models were chillin' while waiting for the show to start

It started raining and the runway got really slippery but a little rain can't stop fashion! Let the show begin!

saturday

This blog post is called Saturday because I cant think of anything else right now.. It is Saturday. I have had a really great, exhausting, inspiring, tiring, fun and relaxing day today.

I was sitting at a coffee shop talking to my new Swedish friend (yay!) and having a really great time, behind us sat Colbie Caillat randomly and she looked really beautiful. I recently did a short video of me and my husband golfing using her song in the background and I thought that was sort of funny. She is a great singer and a very beautiful woman. I think she is an inspiration to young women and a role model because she is herself and seems to be confident in who she is as a woman and a singer/songwriter. I really like that.

I love this city, there is so many talented and creative people here and that makes me feel right at home. For the most of the time, when im not homesick ;). Anyways, good day today! A day like today makes me very thankful to God who has provided great people in my life and giving me everything I truly need when I need it, even if I dont yet know if myself.

Hope you all had a good Saturday as well!
